GLOBAL EFFECTS

As we all know that the global economy is happening very badly right now, and many big Company like Finances, Motor Vehicles, Airlines etc...etc.... have either laid off their staff or some cut salary between 15-25%, we too have no exceptional......Sob!sob!sob!

Huhuhu...that is why I am so damned stressful today...or rather say since last night after I got a news from HQ that a big changes gonna happen. Dang!......the boss and Senior staff have had their 1st meeting yesterday, and some staff conveyed the messages to us. Changes in the office will be like some below:-
1. Phone calls have to cut off - minimise using the phone
2. All current to switch off if not on used and during lunch time - air-con to be switch off too! Panas la durang kan? Luckily me, at counter so ok la...
3. No more coffee free supply in the office, I think so la...
4. No more free water supply...kena bawa sendiri bottle la dari rumah...
5. No tissue supply...so better bring your own from home juga
6. No stationery supply...like habis your pen ink...you buy yourself
7. No wasting of photocopy paper....
8. Laid off staff ? - not sure yet...maybe or maybe not
9. 75% salary cut - What? Yes at first this is the boss planned but was not agreed by staff
10. Compulsory No Pay Day Off on Saturday - so meaning salary cut off! Aduh sakitnya!
This Friday they will have another meeting and then will be finalized... then we will know exactly what happen.

So far, we know off that, we are given a day off on Saturday ( Compulsory Off day without Pay)....and since some of us do work on Weekend ( Tourism kan...) so we are entitled a day off on weekday. Before we are only entitled one day off ( replacing Sunday), but now we are allow or force to take 2 days off day every week...And the two days are No Pay Day Off Day! Meaning they gonna cut 4 days of our salary...it almost like 25% salary cut. OMG! when we started counting how much we gonna bring home our $$$ after the deduction.....can you imagine how much I am gonna bring home? ...Zero man! Its not even enough to pay my monthly car morgage of RM450! And what about my petrol....my monthly insurance...and my daily expenses?....Gone! all Gone...don't know how to survive like this man. Eventhough, we work in the tour counter and of course we getting commission too of whatever we closed sales but since the beginning of this month....the occupancy in the hotel also went down. Everyday, we checked with the receptionist and they told us like today..its only 27%! And do you know where this hotel is? Magellan Sutera, and what about other hotel...well, its almost the same. Everywhere is the same...even the other Travel agent facing the same problem. Laid off staff and also salary deduction.

Goodness me! my commission also gone! Hardly get 1K nowadays...a few years back was so good. You will be smiling every end of month...you dont even want to see your salary ( cos you know exactly how much you get already)...and the commission itself is much better. Well, those were the days....and now...have to see and plan how to get extra money....maybe do some business ...selling coffee or cosmetic or Chicken Wing BBQ or fried banana....hahaha.... do you think we can do that...and do you think anyone want to buy....ha! dunno la.

I know for sure, I can't travel this year as planned. I am disappointed and sad but can't do anything about it....see what Lutz have to say...maybe he have to visit me again here...much better...
Well! what to do now?..Maybe take a long breath and let go and pull back and let it go again...and THINK, PLAN, PRAY, THINK AGAIN, PLAN AGAIN and PRAY HARD! hehehe....crazy to think oh! but still now answer as yet.
