Tadau Kaamatan

Kii...hoi! Tang..tang...dang..dang..dung dung.....Aramaiti! Nah, norikot noh moti oh Tadau Tagazo do Kaamatan.....

Harvest Festival is here again, an occasion that Sabahans love to celebrate, and it will lasts for a glorious month! It's happen in month of May in Sabah & it's a thanks giving celebration for a good harvest. This celebration is not only celebrated in Sabah but also in Labuan & Semenanjung Malaysia (Klang Valley). The whole month of May is packed with merriment and festivities all over the state. The Harvest Festival is celebrated by the Kadazandusun and Murut communities through a display of dance, song and traditional games, but the highlight of it all is the crowning of the harvest queen, the Unduk Ngadau.

One can visit the various districts to exeprience the Kaamatan and certainly don't miss the Grand Finale of the Tadau Kaamatan Celebrations at KDCA hall on the 30th and 31st May!
