Huhu...3 weeks passed since our Tour Desk counter at Magellan Sutera closure, I become mobile. I have to be at Rasaria 2-3 times a week, Wisma Sabah & KK Times 1-2 times a week...siok ni banyak office hehe.
Well, I do like to be at Rasaria and Wisma, cos I can at least meet tourists and try my very best skill in persuading them to buy my tours. Most time, ada sales juga la...but in KK Times - waduh! like prison huhu...you can hear boss bla-bla inside her room, phone ringing none stop looking for the Account Dept. You know la kan, once people are looking for account staff, what else if not payment hehehe.
Sometime, you can hear other staff laughing and complaining this and that...and myself? Hehehe....just trying to be quiet as possible. Trying to be invisible in the office...trying not to mingle in other staff affairs...so I try not to talk. Just be myself infront of my pc hehehe.. .cos in here (KK Times), I don't have any assignment to do...just have to be here (luckily ada PC), so can check my emails, FBing and once in a while doing booking tours for our Tour Guides, if there is any.
Well, I do missed alot sitting at my Tour Desk in Magellan (was there for 5 yrs before closure last month). At least there, I can meet alot of tourists, Celebrities and many more.... Also can mingle around with other staff from other travel agents, who happened to have tour desk there too. I like to work independently actually...safe from gossip and from gossiping la...
Oh well, what to do....the tourism business is not that good this year, so we have to closed the counter there. Since this year, the tourists arrival there is very very low compared to the previous years. So, thats mean my pockets also getting slimmer la this...sob sob...no sales mean no commission!
And soon our office will have new management. We are going to be taken over by Innoprise sooner next month. Well, harap2 the new management is good and can work along with them, and hope that the working hours also not change....and most of all...hope there will be a Bonus end of the year!
